MY IDEAS FOR CHANGE

• The most important job of a County Supervisor is to establish a county budget and to allocate monies to the many departments in Milwaukee County. By having a strong background in finance in areas such as city, state, and school finances and taxes, I believe I have the knowledge and experience to represent Milwaukee County and make financial decisions for its citizens.

  • The departments I will be a part of include our beautiful parks, transit system, airport, museum, zoo, courts, and many more 

• I aim to control spending though zero based budgeting

  • Rather than giving money to all programs based on historical numbers...have all budget lines justify their current need and allocate funds according to need.​

• Make sure that Milwaukee County enables residents to have the things that they need to succeed in their life:

  • After school programs to keep kids engaged

  • Food programs that ensure citizens have adequate nutrition

  • Mentorship programs that work for both adults and students to have positive role models in their lives

• Environmental issues:

  • Make sure the county is controlling levels of pollution by both businesses and individuals​

  • Make sure that there are CLEAN green areas that people and families can enjoy at no charge

• Rehabilitation programs that make changes in lives:

  • Homeless shelters that give people resources that will help make positive changes in their lives​

  • Alcohol and drug programs that are ACCESSIBLE to people that need the programs

  • Inmate reform programs that allow people with a record a second chance.

• Any other issues and concerns voters have that I as a County Supervisor can assist with
